Local MP Sheryll Murray was pleased to attend and present awards at the South West Wedding Awards in Liskeard Public Hall last week with Liskeard Mayor Phil Seeva.
The South West Wedding Awards are an evolution from the West Country Wedding Awards and 2016 was the first year that the Awards have been held in Cornwall.
Cornish winners included The Alverton Hotel in Truro for Best Wedding Venue in Cornwall, Locks and Lashes for Bridal of Hayle for Bridal Hair, Budeiful Brides of Bude for Bridal Oufitter and Babalu Films of St Austell for Wedding Film.
Sheryll said “I was pleased to present the awards with Mayor Phil Seeva. I know we have many excellent wedding venues in South East Cornwall as well and that our county is a beautiful place to get married.”
