Represented by Steve Double between 2015 and 2024, stretching from St Austell and its hinterland on the sheltered south coast to Newquay and the surrounding villages on the rugged north coast, St Austell and Newquay is a constituency of contrasts.
Apart from the two named towns and their surrounding communities, the constituency also encompasses Cornwall’s clay mining heartland as well as the fishing village of Mevagissey and picturesque Fowey.
